A Summer Gathering

Wild Food Foragingfor Absolute Beginners

Saturday 19th July · Torquay

A gentle introduction to the very basics of foraging. Come and meet the hedgerow with us.

An Invitation

July is one of the most abundant times of year to begin noticing the wild food all around us.

The hedgerows are thriving, the medicinal herbs are at their peak, and the landscape is alive with flavour, scent, folklore and stories that many people walk past without ever really seeing.

Join Gillian and Lucy, The HedgeMoor Sisters, for a gentle summer morning wandering through woodland and grassland, learning the very basics of safe wild food foraging.

For complete beginners

No previous knowledge is needed.

We will focus on building confidence, learning a handful of common plants, understanding foraging safety, and helping you begin to see the edible and medicinal abundance growing around you.

Together, we will explore common seasonal plants, how to identify them safely, their traditional uses, their folklore, and the ways they connect with food, medicine, minerals, energy and earth wisdom.

There will be wild teas to taste, plants to meet, stories to gather, and a new way of seeing the landscape beneath your feet.
